Why Should I Throw Out My Water Bottle?

I'm sure you have all heard in recent news that you should THROW OUT YOUR WATER BOTTLE and buy a new one that is BPA FREE. Well what is this BPA stuff? Where is it found and what can it do?

Bisphenol A or BPA is a chemical compound used to make POLYCARBONATE PLASTIC. It has been used for over 50 years and over 8 BILLION POUNDS are manufactured each year. POLYCARBONATE PLASTIC is desirable because it is CLEAR and SHATTER-PROOF. For years this has been used to make baby and water bottles, sports equipment, medical and dental devices, dental fillings and sealants, eyeglass lenses, CDs and DVDs, and household electronics.

BPA had previously been reported as safe for human use but within the last few years has come under question being linked to fetal and infant brain developmental problems, obesity, attention deficit disorder, memory and mood disorders, cancer, thyroid disease, and altered sexual development.

SCARY! Can you believe we have been drinking out of this stuff for the last 50 years?! Well now that you know the facts you have NO EXCUSE not to go through your house and GET RID of all that yucky BPA.
